The Mind alone is the cause of both ̶ Bondage and Liberation

Your mind is everything. If it loses its freedom, you lose your freedom.  If your mind is free, you are also free.  The mind has the natural tendency of getting colored just like a white cloth gets reddened if it is dipped into solution of a red color.  You learn English, naturally you will mix English words and phrases in your conversation.  In the similar manner, if our mind is kept in a bad company, the evil influence of it starts coloring our thought and behaving patterns.

If we wittingly or unwittingly stay in the midst of devotees,  our mind begins meditating on God, His Names, His Forms, His Qualities, His Pastimes, His Abode, and His Associates (Devotees and Saints).  The most important things we should not forget is  ̶  the nature of our Mind changes as per the situations and things amidst which it remains and acts.

  1. It is the mind alone that is responsible for yielding the Karmic consequences in our life. Whether we go to hell or heaven or
God's Abode is entirely dependent upon the thoughts and sentiments that arise and fluctuate in our mind. Bodily actions are simply the reflections and results of the mind's interplay with the matters around it.

Knowing this, if we try to tame our mind by diverting it towards God, God's Name, His Pastimes, His Qualities, His Abode, and His Associates, we will reap the benefit of attaining God and enjoying His Bliss for ever. One of the things we can do is to find the group of devotees where we will always get the opportunity of hearing and chanting God and His Names. If so then why we should not sacrifice ourselves and join the religious sect to benefit ourselves and the entire humanity !

  3. The Gyanis always aim to destroy their Minds--opting for moksha; the Devotees consider this an opportunity lost to serve Krishn.

It's better to cure a disease than going for the kill...isn't it?

    Good Post.

  4. Man hi bandhan aur Moksh ka karan hai. Hame apne Man ko bhagwan me lagana hai. Agar man se bhagwan ki bhakti nahi ki to wo to Physical drill hai as said by Shree Maharajji.

  5. Just as
->Someone enters into a perfume shop, he will receive the fragrance either willingly or unwillingly.
->Someone eats poison, he will die definitely it doesn't depends on that whether he has conducted the act knowingly or unknowingly.
->Similarly if someone follows a saint or lives in his association he'll definitely reach to the ultimate goal of divine everlasting, ever increasing bliss.Just as the fire burns everything which comes in influence of it, the truly God realized saint makes a fallen soul to it's worthy and gives the divine bliss without any price.
