Never forget that the pleasures of the world are sweet, but never the sweetest. It is for the same reason that discontent persists in our life. Our mind knows that worldly riches are pleasing and tempting, but it hardly knows why they are not fully quenching and satisfying. Our mind knows that it desires perfection, but it never knows what the genuine form of perfection is.
We spend our lives in confusion, seeking for an unknown state of happiness. So, everyone is discontented not due to the shortage of sensual comfort, but because of the desire for the best, and the way they act, live, and think never ensures any happiness and perfection in their life.
If you see through your internal eyes of intellect, you will surely find the joys of the world only seem to be sweet, but never the really sweet. So, Desire of more joy persists in our life. Your mind is confused that worldly pleasures are gratifying and luring, but it hardly knows why they are not fully quenching and satisfying.
ReplyDeleteBut remember that you are not your mind. You are an eternal soul which is a part of God, who is The Absolute Bliss. So, tell your mind that happiness lies in God, not in the World and Worldly Matters.

There is no happiness in this material world.We are soul not body. This world is made by god for our body not for the divine soul.we want ultimate ie unlimited happiness.This is the ultimate goal of all souls. But Material world happiness is not ultimate happiness. The unlimited happiness is in god only.
ReplyDeleteWe have to realize frequently this so that we do not waste our time to find the happiness in this material world and so that we proceed towards god via sadhana to achieve ultimate happiness.
The another name of lord Krishna is Anand. as per vedic scriptures Anado brahma vijanayat. Means Happiness is god. It does not means that happiness is in God but God itself is happiness.

One has to realize this thing again and again that we BELONG TO KRISHNA, but not worldly people and other pleasures....with the FIRM FAITH only one could move forward.....in his/her spiritual life(THE ACTUAL LIFE)....
